What? Is it not right to carry out orders?

ANTIGONE
Not if they are bad and badly given.

ΚΡΕΩΝ
πῶς; τἀντεταλμέν᾿ οὐ δίκαιον ἐκπονεῖν;

ΑΝΤΙΓΟΝΗ
οὔκ, ἢν πονηρά γ᾿ ᾖ κακῶς τ᾿ εἰρημένα.


1648 ἐκπονεῖν: ἐκτελεῖν codd. aliquot
τἀντεταλμέν᾿ = τὰ ἐντεταλμένα (perfect passive participle of ἐντέλλω).
